Welcome, EZRecolor Creators!
Ready to start making your assets EZRecolor Compatible? This section of the documentation includes everything you need to know when it comes to making EZRecolor Ready assets.
BEFORE RELEASING YOUR ASSET PACKAGES IN THE WILD
DO NOT INCLUDE THE EZRECOLOR BAKER WITH YOUR PACKAGES!
Due to the Supporter Edition Baker being a paid asset, please only include your templates and, if you wish, the TemplatesOnly package to make the Templates work.
Once you are ready to lock in your templates for your asset package, follow these simple steps:
- Delete the EZRecolor package from the project, or at least the Scripts folder inside it
- Import the EZRecolor_TemplatesOnly.unitypackage into your project. This will allow the templates to be read, and won't include the Baker.
Make sure to direct your users to the Official Download Page to get the Lite Edition, which can bake Supporter Edition Templates.
