EZRecolor Labels

When making EZRecolor Materials, Color Replacement Fields are what recolors each part of the asset. However, it can be hard to know which Color Replacement changes what without playing with the color, and even then if it's a hidden spot on the asset it can become near impossible to know. This is why EZRecolor offers a way to Replace the "Color Replacement #" names in a Material with your own Labels!

EZRecolor offers Material EZRecolor Labels Objects that addresses this issue. You can create one just like creating a Template, by right clicking in the Project tab and selecting Create > Mike Da Bird > EZRecolor > Material EZRecolor Labels

There are two lists in a Material EZRecolor Labels Objects:

  • Materials: These are the Materials that will have their Property Names replaced with custom Labels.
  • Labels: These are the labels themselves. The Shader Editor will look for the Shader Property name in the Material, and if it exists replace it with the Label
